I love this name too, if have a daughter in the future I will call her Asha with a middle name of Lily. I think this is beautiful. I am considering also calling a boy Asha.

I love this name for a girl! The first time I heard it was on the show Dark Angel. Since then it has made me think of a strong beautiful woman. I also love the meaning "life."

The Swahili word for "life" is "Maisha", not "Asha".
