Comments for AURÈLE:
A famous bearer is Aurele Nicolet, Swiss flautist. A remarkable stylist, Nicolet has been praised for wonderful nuanced and elegant playing.-- ToveTer 6/6/2007
No offense, but I'd say this name fits a girl better than it does a boy (or man, for that matter). When looking at it, I was reminded of "aureole" - the French word for "halo" - which, itself, sounds feminine. But this is a beautiful name - that's undeniable. I'd consider using it, because it brings to mind an angel with a radiant halo.-- seraphine_eternal 6/15/2008
Pronounced "oh-rell."-- Carousel 6/18/2008
Aurèle's nice but not given anymore. Many kids are called Aurélien, though, and the feminine form is Aurélie (really nice).-- luxsword 10/24/2008
