Meaning & History

From Sino-Korean 白虎 (baek-ho), referring to a white tiger, also one of the Four Symbols of the Chinese constellations which represents the west and the autumn season. This makes it cognate with Japanese Byakko.
It is most often used on males whose birth date falls on the year of the Tiger.
