I don't think this is a very good name for a person. Maybe a pet, like a rabbit or guinea pig or possibly a hamster, but not a person.

It sounds sort of cute for a little girl, but a bit corny for grown-ups and even teenagers. Many people might mishear this name as Barry and think the boys' names on girls thing truly has gone too far. The name isn't actually pretty, and it doesn't sound very serious or mature.

Just brings 'Strawberry' into my head, and for some unknown reason that name really does my head in. So no, not for me, not really. But I guess it's not terrible.

Berry Shirayuki (also known as Berry Sue) is the sixth Mew Mew in the sequel to Tokyo Mew Mew, Tokyo Mew Mew Ala Mode. She is a vastly powerful character and largely detested by fans, but she is also quite adorable in some respects.

Berry looks rather silly as a given name. There are names in other languages with similar meanings, so why not go for one of those? I admit it sounds cute on animals, though.

Berry Berenson, born Berinthia Berenson, was a photographer and actress who was married to Anthony Perkins (Norman Bates of "Psycho" fame). She was one of the 58 passengers on one of the planes that crashed into the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001.

Unique but I think the poor girl might get a bit to much hassle for this.
Not BAD hassle but just stuff like "Are you serious? Why did your parents call you BERRY?"

It does sound like Barry. Berry is very unique though. Don't know if I would use it.
