Bethari is a beautiful name, be it for a person or a pet. Also, it is a great name for a tiger. I happen to be using it for a story.

Pronounced "be-TAH-ree". Can also be spelt "Betari". More seldomly seen variants are "Bethary" and "Betary". The Indonesian language (i.e. not Javanese) version is "Batari" with the same meaning. [noted -ed]
