Blanca Errázuriz (1894-1940) was a Chilean socialite from the prominent Errázuriz family (noted for producing four presidents of Chile). She married and divorced a much older American businessman named John de Saulles. Their nasty battle over the custody of their son led to Blanca shooting her ex-husband. Blanca was subject to a highly publicized trial and was later acquitted.
