Brand is an English word meaning "trademark".

Brand is just plain stupid as a name, even more so than the various brands that are now used as names, like Chanel and Armani.

Reminds me of a firebrand, like the names Ember or Ash. Also like it better than Brant or Brandon.

Means "fire; conflagration" in Swedish.

I can't believe this is an actual name. Boy, people sure are desperate to give their child a different name these days.

This is a real name. My great grandfather's first name was Brand. He was born in the late 19th century. We're a Dutch family.
