Catherine is so much better. Catherina is childish and a little bit annoying.
This is so pretty. It's different than the overused old Catherine. I prefer Catherina more then Catherine, Katherine, or Katherina.
Should be written CATERINA.THERE ARE NO "TH" IN SPANISH! [noted -ed]
By the way, correct pronunciation is like the first comment said: it should be pronounced kah-teh-REE-nah.
It's sweet and less common then Catherine.
I think this name is also Dutch, but I'm not sure.
So pretty and delicate. It sounds so feminine yet so powerful. Perfect name! :)
It can also be pronounced cath-er-ina.
This is my middle name, I was named after my grandmother, who was Dutch. Depending on where the name-bearer's country of origin is, it can change. In my family it is pronounced "Cath-rina", and this is by my Dutch relatives.
I believe the correct pronunciation of Catherina is kah-teh-REE-nah.
