This name is not bad, but only for someone who was born in summer in Japan. I can't imagine a Japanese girl, Chinatsu born in e.g. spring, autumn, winter.

In 4 years of living in Japan plus a few more years of making friends with various Japanese people, I've never heard of this name except on this site. Knew 1 Minatsu and a few people named Natsuko or Natsumi or Natsuki, but not Chinatsu. Rare name.
I like this name. It's like saying someone will live a long time! It should be for someone born during the summer though.
