A famous bearer is American actress/singer/dancer Chita Rivera (born on January 23, 1933), well-known for her work in musical theatre. A nine-time Tony Award nominee, among notable roles have included Anita in "West Side Story", Rose Grant in "Bye Bye, Birdie", Velma Kelly in "Chicago", Rose in "Bring Back Bridie, the Queen in "Merlin", Anna in "The Rink", the Spider Woman in "Kiss of the Spider Woman", Liliane in "Nine", and herself in "Chita Rivera: The Dancer's Life". She was a Kennedy Center honoree in 2002.
