It's my middle name and I hate it. It's too long and a pain in the ass to write/type in forms. The 'h' and 'ph' look aesthetically ugly and is a waste of space; should have simply been - Cristofer - if anything. It's also annoying how most people just call you 'Chris' - another reason exemplifying why it's way too long. Personally I would've preferred "Kristian." Shorter, has a better ring to it, people don't shorten it to Chris. So much better IMO.

Christopher is my name. For most of my life, I have gone by Christopher and have always preferred it that way. It can be tricky, however, when you meet new people. Often they will shorten it to Chris without asking. I should say that I don't mind being called Chris - but usually only close family call me that. If they do ask what my preference is (which surprisingly has happened often), I will always say "Christopher".

I don’t live with him anymore though, but I still like him. I respect parents who want to name their daughters Christopher, but it just doesn’t sound right for a girl at all!
