Comments for the name Clarity

I love this name because of its originality. In my eyes, the name sounds like the delicate caroling of young children, or the metal vibration of a glockenspiel, or the baronial cadency of a harp being strung by finespun fingers!

I somewhat fancy this name for the nickname Clare, althought the John Mayer song "Clarity" rather deters me from favoritism.

I live in the Down Under but I've known over 12 people with the name Clarity from Scotland.

As mentioned above, "Clarity" is a song by John Mayer off of the album "Heavier Things".

Okay, it IS better than Charity, and it certainly beats the hideous Chastity, but the name is still quite weird. There might be quite a few jokes about the girl, especially if she isn't considered very intelligent. I don't really like these -ity names at all.

Better than Claire and Clara (which basically means the same thing). Also better than Charity and Chasity. It's also rare which I like. :)
