Clemence Sophia Harned Lozier (1813 — 1888) was an American physician who founded the New York Medical College and Hospital for Women. Dr. Lozier was also a noted feminist and activist, and served as president of the New York City Suffrage League and the National Women's Suffrage Association.
Clemence Housman (1861 – 1955) was an English author, illustrator and activist in the women's suffrage movement. Her novels included The Were-Wolf, Unknown Sea and The Life of Sir Aglovale De Galis. She was also a leading figure in the suffragette movement.
I think this is a really lovely name. Clémence Poésy (b. 30 November 1982) is also a famous bearer of this name, best known for playing Fleur Delacour in the Harry Potter series of films.
