As far as a I can find, there is no musical notation 'con dolcezza' or anything similar. The only references that occur on the internet if you search with this term are for pages discussing Condoleezza Rice's name.

"Dolcezza" certainly does mean "sweetness" in Italian, and it didn't take much Googling for me to find references to it used in regard to the sound of musical instruments. "Con dolcezza" may not be one of the more common musical terms, but I see no reason that it couldn't have been found by Ms. Rice's parents as a musical instruction on a particular piece.

I think this is a very ugly name. It looks tossed together. Condolcezza or Condulcesa wold be better.

Famous bearer, Secretary of State Dr. Condoleezza Rice, is a very intelligent woman. I'd vote for her if she ran for president!

Condoleezza Rice's name is terribly misspelled and mispronounced; it's "dolezza" and it's pronounced "dol-AY-tsah".

On Condoleezza Rice, I think "Senzavista" (from "senza vista", "without sight") would be a more appropriate name for her.

Weird name. I'd just rather call Condoleezza Rice "Condi".

Con Dolcezza is not a musical term (though it does mean "with sweetness"). Whoever gave that information is very mistaken.

This name is totally made up & really crappy. I'm serious, who came up with this? It's kinda long & sounds terrible. I feel sorta sorry for Condoleezza Rice.

Pronounced KAWN-də-lee-zə in English.

The spelling makes it out to feel a lot worse than it really is. Maybe it's because of the association with such a high government position, but the name sounds to me actually kind of refined.

This name recalls "Condolence", when we give condolences to a family of the dead.
