As you can see in the popularity statistics, the name Daley is also popular in the Netherlands. Its popularity there can be attributed to the Dutch professional soccer player Daley Blind (b. 1990), son of the retired professional soccer player Danny Blind (b. 1961). Daley's international career in soccer started in 2004, when he debuted in the Netherlands national under-15 soccer team. His senior career started in 2008, when he began playing for the Dutch professional soccer club Ajax. [noted -ed]It is during his time at Ajax that the name Daley first appeared in the name popularity statistics of the Netherlands, namely in the year 2010. As Blind's career progressed (and with it, his fame), the name gradually increased in popularity. In 2014, the name suddenly made a huge jump in popularity, which is thanks to Blind's contributions to the Netherlands national team at the 2014 FIFA World Cup, where the Dutch managed to reach the 3rd place. This made enough of an impression (on prospective parents) that it enabled the name to reach its absolute peak the following year. After that, it gradually declined in popularity overall. This might possibly be explained by the fact that the Netherlands failed to qualify for both the 2016 UEFA European Football Championship and the 2018 FIFA World Cup.The name has since enjoyed a brief revival in 2020 and 2022, due to respectively the 2020 UEFA European Football Championship and the 2022 FIFA World Cup, both of which the Netherlands (and Daley Blind) participated in.Sources:

Only like it for a boy. On a girl, it sounds... disgusting.
In the USA, this name can also be FEMININE, making it UNISEX.
24 girls in the USA were named DALEY in 2002.
This name should REALLY be "Masculine & Feminine".https://www.names.org/n/Daley/about

While I'm not a fan of Dale or Daley, Daley does sound stronger (albeit more juvenile).
My name is Daley. I am female. Everyone always is curious about my name, they usually think it's a unique and cool name in general. I've gone back and forth between hating and loving it. But it's the name my parents gave me so I should probably take more pride in the name I was given.
Daley Marin is a female character in the children's television show Flight 29 Down.
Daley is a surname and surnames are usually categorized as masculine names when used as first names. However, this name sounds very feminine.
My name is Daley and I am a girl and I think that it is meant to be a girl's name. Whenever I go onto a name website I always see Daley as a male name and it gets quite annoying. I LOVE MY NAME!
Haha, I didn't realise this was a real name!
I'm a boy called Dale, but I choose to go by Daley, because I hate Dale. :P I prefer Daley to Dale, A LOT.
I'm proud to be a girl named Daley!
My name came from a combination of my parents' two first names, and they thought they'd made it up.
And, yes, people do use 'daily' jokes. A lot.
This name is quite unique, but would probably lead to jokes about doing things daily.
Sounds oh so feminine to me.
Daley can also be a pet form of Dale.
I think it sounds better for a girl.
My middle name is Daylee. It should have been spelled this way. It says it's masculine and I'm female, oh well.
