It sounds a lot like Demon, but it's a lovely name!

Personally I love this name! I would name my son Damon, except I know how others might mock him. However I think it would make a wonderful middle name. (I especially love the story about him and Pythias).

Damon is a really cool name for a guy. It's a very handsome, strong, and commanding name.

Much better than Damian. The name reminds me of Damon Albarn from Blur, who later kicked off the Gorillaz project, and I can't say I like him much. The name also reminds me of Damon Gough, also known as Badly Drawn Boy, whose music is sort of nicety-nice, but nothing earth-shatteringly brilliant or memorable by a long shot. This is an okay name that sounds quite safe. Like the name of relatively sane people.

Damon is a great sounding name. It's a bit like Damian, but it seems nicer to say. It's not dated by any means, it almost has a modern feel to it.

Damon Salvatore from The Vampire Diaries is hot hot hot! Definitely influenced my feelings on the name. I think it's wonderful and vibrant.

Well I do really like this name. Damon was one of the main character in Vampire Diaries by L.J Smith. And whenever I heard this name I do remember the character, and it reflects as dangerously hunk guy look. A very awesome name it is.
