Delores is the name of one of Jerry's girlfriends on "Seinfeld." She breaks up with him because he can't remember her name, only that it rhymes with a female body part.

Sounds like an old grandma name. Kind of boring.

Delores origin is French. It is the feminine of Delore. Delore pronounced with long E sound. Meaning De (the) lore (story). I.E. the story teller. I have five French generations with that as a first name - Delore male; female - Delores. It does not mean sorrow or pain or suffering.
