Demetrius is a character in Shakespeare's play 'Titus Andronicus'. In the play, Demetrius is the youngest son of the Gothic Queen Tamora, and is brought to Rome as the spoils of war. He and his brother Chiron rape Titus' daughter Lavinia and cut off her hands and tongue. However, she reveals their crime and Titus cooks them in a pie which is then served to their mother as punishment.

Demetrius was also a character in the novel and 1953 film: The Robe and later a gladiator in Demetrius and the Gladiators.
