If it's not pronounced the same, it's at least ridiculously close so don't even bother. Name your son this and he would have to either stay in his country for his entire life or change his name if he travels abroad- especially to an English speaking country.

I can't imagine this name on a grown man, partly because this is the Finnish name of a Swedish main character in a children's story, and partly because it sounds very boyish, and also old-fashioned and a bit humorous by now.
