Esma Oniani (Georgian: ესმა ონიანი) (July 20, 1938 - January 31, 1999) was a Georgian poet, essayist, and painter. Oniani exhibited her work both domestically and abroad during her career, receiving plaudits including a medal from an exhibition in Japan. She won a medal from the Artists' Union for her portrait of David Kakabadze in 1982.
Esmâ Ibret Hanim (born 1780) was an Ottoman calligrapher and poet, noted as the most successful female calligrapher of her day. In the 18th-century Ottoman period, calligraphy was a male-dominated profession. However, a small number of female calligraphers, such as Esmâ Ibret and Şerife Fatma, successfully trained as calligraphers and were able to make valuable contributions in their field.

Esma Agolli (1 July 1928 – 5 June 2010) was an Albanian actress of stage and screen. She received the title of Merited Artist of Albania and acted in 60 different roles, her first one in 1948.
Esma Redžepova-Teodosievska is a Macedonian vocalist, songwriter, and humanitarian of Romani ethnicity.
