For some reason, I know quite a few Chinese people named Ethan. Is it a popular name among Chinese Americans? Or just a coincidence?
Also Italian.In 2017 were born 225 Ethan in Italy making it the #117 most used name for masculine newborns.

I love this name. It was the only name my husband and I could agree on for our son who was born 2006. It was the 4th most popular last year, but if you look at what percentage of boys were named Ethan compared to 2005 and 2004 for instance, it's actually a smaller percent. Starting 2001 if I remember correctly, over 1% of boys born in those years were named Ethan. In 2006 it was 0.94%.
