Georgian form of Eudaimon via Eudaemon. This name was borne by two Georgian Catholicoses, namely Evdemon Chkhetidze (also found spelled as Chkhtidze) and Evdemon Sakvarelidze. The former lived in the 16th century AD, whereas the latter lived in the 17th century AD.
