Filin ("филин", with one l) means "eagle owl" in Russian.
Don't care for this.
Fillin? Like "filling" with the 'g' dropped off? This is how English-speaking people (especially in America, possibly in the U.K.) often say "filling" colloquially. Not a good name for a kid.
Personally a really great name for a bad guy in a story.
