Florinus is an intriguing, uncommon name.

My name is Flurin and I suppose it's connected to Florinus. From Swiss origin, the name originates from the Rumantsch language spoken in Engadine (GR). Flurin is the male form and Flurina is the female form. Some of the elders of the family told me it's from Alamanni origin but I don't know if that's true.
