What the Foka? Russian parents who name their children this obviously (hopefully) don't have that English word in mind.

I am sure that in Russia, it is a prefectly fine name. Just because it sounds like a bad word in English, doesn't mean that in the normal language it is bad.

It sounds like a bad word. I wouldn't use this on any child. They would get called bad names and be the butt of many dirty jokes I'm sure.
