Georgie Henley, who plays Lucy Pevensie in The Chronicles of Narnia: the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe bears the name. She's perfect for Lucy.

"Georgie Girl" is a song by The Seekers.

There's also a 1966 film called Georgy Girl, starring Lynn Redgrave and Alan Bates.

I think this name seems more masculine than feminine. It would be a cute nickname for George when a little boy is young.

My name is Georgina, named after my great-grandmother, but I've been called Georgie all my life. I've never really been "teased" for it being a boy name. Rather, I've had a lot of people tell me they like it. And I like it too! I'm the only Georgie I've ever met. :)

I love this name for a girl, or as a nickname for a guy. It's very nice.

I named my puppy Georgie. It's really cute and suits her. Nicknames she gets are Georgie-Porgie, Georgie-Pie, Georgehead and Georgious, depending on how she's acting at the time.

I still like this name on a person though, as either a nickname for a boy or girl but only as a full name for a girl. It's very cute and likeable.
