I think this name seems more masculine than feminine. It would be a cute nickname for George when a little boy is young.-- Anonymous User 1/23/2007
My name is Georgina, named after my great-grandmother, but I've been called Georgie all my life. I've never really been "teased" for it being a boy name. Rather, I've had a lot of people tell me they like it. And I like it too! I'm the only Georgie I've ever met. :)-- Anonymous User 4/20/2009
I love this name for a girl, or as a nickname for a guy. It's very nice.-- Chrila96 7/28/2010

I named my puppy Georgie. It's really cute and suits her. Nicknames she gets are Georgie-Porgie, Georgie-Pie, Georgehead and Georgious, depending on how she's acting at the time.
I still like this name on a person though, as either a nickname for a boy or girl but only as a full name for a girl. It's very cute and likeable.-- fishl_x 2/2/2011
