Imagine "Gianni" when you attempt "Gian"... It holds aspects of "Gee-On" and of the quickly spoken "Jyan"-- but never should it too closely resemble "John." "A" as in "Father" when you tackle the "Ma." Roll your "R" for authentic pronunciation. In "Ri" you must stress "I" to "EE." Follow up with, once again, "A" as in "Father. [noted -ed]
