When I hear the name *Gore*, what else can I think of but blood and guts?

I think of blood whenever I hear that name.

Gore Verbinski, director of Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean films, is a famous bearer.

This name makes me think of the Dutch word "goor" which means gross, add the meaning of English amd I don't really think it's a good name. I do like the association with Gore Verbinski, though.

Regardless of what the word used to mean, this name immediately makes people think of nasty accidents, murders, suicides, and other bloody events. Plus, if the other kids don't like the guy, he might be called ''Gore the bore'', not to even mention what else he could be called.

Sounds badass, honestly.
But... just, not on a person. Maybe for a dog, or as the original surname. All I can think of is Al Gore.
