Add Usage: EnglishPronounced: HAN-na (Swedish, Icelandic), HA-na (Danish, German, Dutch), HAHN-nah (Finnish), HAW-naw (Hungarian), HAN-ə (English)Meaning: Variant form of Channah (see HANNAH) used in various languages.
This name is used in Belarus. The native spelling is identical to the Ukrainian one. And I think both languages use it as a form of Anna rather than Hannah, but I'm not sure. [noted -ed]

I've seen girls named this around here where I live, so I'm not so sure about it being specifically all of the nationalities listed. I think it's just another way to spell 'Hannah'.
Yes this is an alternative spelling for Hannah but this spelling originated in the countries listed. So it is not typically reserved for exclusive use in those places but originated from them.
