Heron of Alexandria, the first person to use steam power, though nothing useful came out of it.
It reminds me of birds or heroin, the bird association is okay to me, the drug is not. Better than Hero on a boy though.

The SS Heron is a part of the Harry Potter fanverse. People who support the 'ship' (short for relationship) between main characters Hermione and Ron are said to "sail the SS Heron." The 'ship' got its name by combining the names Ron and Hermione.
