It might have looked feminine to me too, if it wasn't for Hilaire Belloc - an Edwardian, French-English author and Catholic apologist, whom I mainly love for his hilarious (!), eloquent (and literally titled, don't worry) book /The Path to Rome/, where I found out he'd make an awesome book character, and though I'd probably be scared of his argumentativeness in real life, I have something sort of resembling a crush on him as a character.
