From Sino-Korean 仁 (in) meaning "humanity, virtue, benevolence, charity, man, kernel" combined with 秀 (soo) meaning "excellent, outstanding". Other hanja combinations are possible. Famous bearers are Chun In-soo, a South Korean archer and Olympic champion, Insoo Hyun, an Associate Professor of Bioethics and Philosophy at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio and Kang In-Soo, a South Korean singer.
