A famous bearer of the name Jari is the Finnish hockey player Jari Kurri.

I've fallen for Jari (pronounced YAH-ree, not English). It's a simple but pretty uncommon name that's not as strange and pseudo-unique as many other uncommon names because it really exists. In Germany, it's pretty unknown.

Jari Maenpaa of the band Wintersun, formerly of Ensiferum and some other band. "Maenpaa" has lots of accents and stuff that I don't feel like inserting. Sometimes I call him Jari Man-Pie.

Jari Mäenpää's name does not have accents. The double dots are called tremata.

Sounds very cute. I'd maybe use this if I was Finnish, but alas, I am not.
