Juanita means Jenny in Spanish!

Actually Juanita is Janey, not Jenny. Since Juanita is a Spanish variant of JOHN, so it would be Jane. It is also the Spanish form of Jeanette.

Juanita is more likely to be the Spanish form of Janet.

John means "Yahweh is gracious." Yahweh was a Hebrew God so, "God is Gracious".
