This is my name. I do like it, because it's unique, but you can't imagine how annoying it can be when people mispronounce it 4/5 times. It's understandable though, since it looks like so many other names, so no hard feelings. I've lived with it my whole life, so I've gotten used to that. Even though I'm not absolutely in love with it, I can't picture myself with any other name.

It sounds like the parents or whomever made this name up couldn't decide between "Kathryn" and "Kathleen". Some people like to be called "Kat" if this is their full name. I know only one Kathlyn.
