My name is Kaylynn. If I lived in France my name would be Catherine. I would rather be in France than America because people make fun of my name.

Ughhhh. Im so tired of seeing names like this. The spelling of this made up name is an eyesore. Too many y's and the double n looks so strange and unbalanced... And that's not even getting into the way the name sounds. "Kaylynn" and its never ending variants are just a combination of the super trendy prefix "Kay" found in equally trashy names such as Kayla and kaylee, and the suffix lyn, which is tacked onto every other name these days. No matter how you spell it, it's bound to look and sound extremely childish, over trendy, modern, and pretty darn trashy. I remember there was this woman somewhere I went who kept calling out to her daughter who had this name (no idea how she spelled it) as if she was proud of it. The more she said it, the more I wanted to vomit. When you name your kids things like this, chances are you won't get a positive reaction from the public, whether they say anything or not.

If any parent comes up with any more variations of this already tired name, they should whipped with a spurr-lined bullwhip on the front and back of the body.

"Cailín" is an Irish Gaelic noun, not a name (however pretty that it is); the U.S. has spat on a lovely word and made a mockery of it.

There are just way too many names coming out that sound like this one. They are starting to run together. Aidan, Jaylynn, Jayden, Kayden, Brayden, etc.
