I really like the name Kerrie. It is very feminine and it is also my best friend's name.

I think Kerrie is a very pretty name and I like it much better than Carrie.

Kerrie is the feminine form of Kerry. It's also one of the most beautiful counties in Ireland. It means "dear" and "dark haired one".

Kerrie also comes from the Welsh moon goddess Cerridwen, goddess of poetry, whose name meant something like "fair (or blessed) poetry."

Kerrie more than likely came from the spelling variation Kerridwen/Cerridwen. Never the less Kerridwen is the "Goddess of Art, Music and Poetry".
