Kerrie more than likely came from the spelling variation Kerridwen/Cerridwen. Never the less Kerridwen is the "Goddess of Art, Music and Poetry".
Kerrie is the feminine form of Kerry. It's also one of the most beautiful counties in Ireland. It means "dear" and "dark haired one".
Kerrie also comes from the Welsh moon goddess Cerridwen, goddess of poetry, whose name meant something like "fair (or blessed) poetry."
