I find this name so pretty after finding out the pronunciation is KEER-see-kah. It also gets bonus points for being extremely unusual and unique in the U.S. The main downside would be how often it would get mispronounced.
I like the fact that it's not a form of Christina, and is fully unique. It also relates to kirsch, the German word for cherry, which was a Jewish name in my family in the wartime.
I've also heard this name being used as a nickname for people called Kirsi, but I can't estimate how widespread that is.
