In Hungarian, the letter "c" is pronounced as "tz" and the letter "a" is similar in pronunciation as the "o" in the English word "mother." Therefor the Hungarian name "Laci" is not the same as the female name "Laci" in English-- the Hungarian version is pronounced "Lot-zi."
