Laoghaire is a female character in the book Outlander by Diana Gabaldon, even though it's a masculine name.

I live down the road from Dun Laoghaire, which is a place.

Pronounced "Leery" from what I understand.

I usually hear this pronounced LEER-ee. I also heard it pronounced LEER-ah once, though I'm not sure of the accuracy of this pronunciation.

The name of a young female character in the Outlander books and series. Not my favorite character, so I like to call her "Leg hair " lol.
