Per Wiktionary, “Lulu” was also 1940s slang for “a remarkable person, object or idea” or “a very attractive or seductive person”.
Lulu is also nickname from name Ludmila.
Can be also a nickname for Lucrezia/Lucretia. I like it as nickname although its a bit tacky.
Connotation for Lulu - "famous in battle".
