Also my sister. Also atrocious and annoying. She is practically a demon.
I think this should be a nickname for Madyson because it looks stranger as a nickname for Madison.
This is fine, but Maddie is better. I would use Maddie for Madison, and Maddy for Madelyn/Madeline/Madeleine.
To be honest, I don't understand why people think this is "trashy". It's honestly a real pretty name!
M.a.d.d.i.e.
To everyone saying this is a trashy spelling of Maddie:If someone spells their name Madelyn, it doesn't make sense to be called Maddie, because there is no 'i'. So, it makes sense to be called Maddy!
This name is somewhat cute but extremely common. In a class of 11 there are 2 Jessica’s and 3 Maddy’s.
Maddie is the better spelling. Still an immature name either way.
My name is Madeline (Mad-Ah-Lynn) and I am called Maddy by everyone. I have always really liked my name, Madeline, and always hated "Maddy". But, others insisted. Now that I'm a bit older, the nickname "Maddy" really fits my personality, so I don't mind it at all anymore. However, If you want your daughter called "Maddy", give her a nice mature sounding name like Madeline or Madeliene so she can decide for herself what she is called.

One of my (male) friends is named Madison... we call him this. Awesome.
