My sister up top's (who's half Samoan like me) name is Maeva and it's pronounced "ma -EH -va" . Like the EH is "e" in egg. I like this better than Maeve.

My name is Maeva and I'm half Samoan so my name is pronounced like this-mah-EH-va. But everyone just calls me mayva because they cannot pronounce it.
