Tippi Hedren's Character was called Marnie. It is from an Alfred Hitchcock box-office thriller. A must see. Also, it is my middle name.

The main character in the book, The Raging Quiet, by Sheryl Jordan. The book takes place in the Middle Ages; it seems just a little strange to me to think of a medieval Marnie.

I do like the name, because of the character in The Raging Quiet. Not my absolute favorite, but I like it and think it has an Irish/Scottish feel to it, probably because of the book.

I really hate this name. It sounds like the name of a pretentious liberal young woman who only listens to obscure indie rock music and constantly complains about sexism in video games.
