Mavourneen

Comments (Meaning / History Only)

Actually, the Irish expression is "mo mhúirnín". Mhúirnín is the genitive form of múirnín. [noted -ed]
Mavourneen is often used in Irish folk songs as a term of endearment (it means my darling).
