Mayte is the name of the black-dressed singer of the famous song team Baccara.

I was watching a t.v. show where a girl was named Mayte, and they pronounced it my-uh-tay.
I've never heard the name up to that point, so I'm not sure if that's how it's always pronounced or if that's just how she pronounces it.
