I've seen this name spelled Narjis in translations from Arabic.

My name is also Nergis, and I am from Azerbaijan (the country with Turkish origins). But my name is spelled and has pronunciation as Nergiz. In the Russian language the pronunciation is Nargiz. In Spanish it is Narhis. In French Narquiz. English men often say it as Nharkiz. As you can see there are many pronunciations of this name, and I don't like most of them, therefore, I often introduce myself to foreigners as Nara, which is a common nickname for people whose name is Nergiz.
