I like this name, it sounds good and reminds me of Sinterklaas, which is my favorite holiday. I would like to give this as a middle name to my son, if I ever have one.

The Dutch pronunciation is NEE-coh-lahs. With an o like in go and the long a like in names ending in a like Melissa. (sorry, couldn't think of a word that had the right sound in it.)
