Perry

Having born the name my entire life (as has my father and his father before him) I first have to say I definitely feel it is a masculine name! In the past I have done a bit of research into my name and I believe it has the same roots as the name Peter although this does not seem to be mentioned anywhere on this site that I can find.

I have seen the name Perry used as a nickname for the feminine given name Persephone.

I've also seen it as a short form of Pericles.
